The Wives

We found each other in 2017 with the classic work place meet-cute. Shelby had just graduated Nursing School and Amanda was her preceptor in the ICU. Immediately we fell in love. The kind of love where suddenly your life is a Romance Novel. Consumed with hand written love letters and sleepless nights writing down our dreams. Now, in 2025, we are leaving the Flora-Bama Beaches and headed to the deserts of Arizona chasing those dreams! Read along with us as we turn Fantasy into Reality with opening up our very own Bookstore! We are the Wives and this is our Tale!

The Wive’s Tale Bookstore

A curated and welcoming space that combines literature, vintage aesthetics, and community spirit in the Heart of Arizona on Route 66. Bringing together people who would otherwise never interact. Creating something beautiful and promoting being present whilst escaping into new fantasy worlds or lending an ear to strangers passing through, sharing their own stories, writing their latest chapter.
